Re: Creating a full body for Anne

Looking good! Personally, I think I'd keep the tattoo on her chest, it has become such an iconic feature of hers. That last concept drawing of her does have an armband tattoo though.

Power issue, huh? Whenever I have a power outage at my home, I check the breaker/fuse box. ;)
If you like melee weapons, check the fort again.

Re: Severnaya

Ah, so instead of only setting variable trigger values to true or false, I should use objects and location triggers to keep track of values? I've never messed with variable triggers before, so I will look for examples. TV remotes, especially older ones, need to be pointed at the TV to work, that's w...

'Nyways it's great to have a long-time TresComer make another new level. Thanks for sharing! Maybe we'll see the final version this Winter... 8) Thanks for checking out my level, Drac. Hopefully by winter, but no promises. I wouldn't call it a maze, more like a branching path with big snow banks on...

Re: Existing versions of Trespasser

Nice, another version of the game to add to my collection! Unlike Fargus, whose translation of the game's text into Russian was terrible, representing some kind of eerie semblance of transliteration in Latin, 7 Wolf somehow managed to get Cyrillic to display normally. Forum user cynodesmus...

Re: 20th Anniversary of Trescom Community Level

is the mammoth the only Carnivores model we have rigged (I was looking to use some of them myself)? There is also Lambeosaurus and Tylosaurus in this level, plus Nanotyrannus is in JPDS, Giganotosaurus is in Trespasser: Legacy, and Coelophysis is in TC Rescue. I think the Suchomimus from The Lagoon...

Re: Severnaya

This is, without a doubt, one of the greatest Trespasser Mods ever made. The fact that not only the level itself looks like N64 GoldenEye (or I guess I should say the XBLA version?), but the menu does too?? You really went the extra mile with that :P . Thank you for the high praise. 😄 I'll have to ...

Severnaya

Severnaya is the level I've been working on for roughly 2 years. It is based on the level Surface from Goldeneye 007 on the Nintendo 64. It is a sequel of sorts to that game where you play as Natalya, who has been recruited by MI6 and has been tasked to return to Severnaya due to unusual activity in...

Re: Just published an overview/ ”curated playthrough” of Trespasser

Great video! You come off as a little too contemptuous at times with all the Half Life 2 and Jurassic Park sequel bashing, but it was very entertaining. There are 2 inaccuracies though: You are not meant to kill the first green T. Rex, it is coded to stay in open area and not follow you in the...

Re: Is there some flavor text meant to exuse the lack of a left arm

That's a good question, I might be wrong, but I don't think there is any official game source that states that Anne's arm left arm was broken in the plane crash and it is most likely a theory invented by players/fans to explain why she never uses her left arm. Have you checked the box? There is some...

Re: Austin Grossman Interview At Rock Paper Shotgun

It's pretty heartbreaking that Grossman and Blackley were so traumatized by the failure of the game that they never spoke again, even though they were good friends during the project.

Also, the link on the main site post broken, it leads to https://www.trescom.org/_wp_link_placeholder.

Re: Whats the deal with the estate in the seconed level?

There are guns, there is a Calico in the bookcase's secret compartment and there is M14 on the second floor if you jump across the broken floor. Also, I think the original plan was to have a percussion/flintlock pistol and a flintlock rifle in the house, but they weren't implemented. The plantation ...

Re: Trespasser level designs awards competition

While I'm all for recognizing the great work and effort from this community, I don't think there are enough levels being released per year to justify a yearly award.
What levels even came out last year? InGen Compound, Palm Gate, and handful of unfinished levels, I think.

Re: Castaway Level - Final Released (03/12/23)

Your other option is to break one of the large windows with either the pistol bow or the colt then use the ladder (which is something of a bitch to set up against the wall (or if you downloaded the final's update, you can gather some crates from the htb dock and the one on the porch and go the old ...

Re: Is there any clues to where the white card is hidden?

That's true. I suppose the best option would have been if the front door was unlocked and the stairs were intact.

On a related note, I think the circled star is Lambda Draconis, the tip of the tail of the constellation Draco. I wonder if that was intentional.
