I'm almost 100% certain that the melody there is a preset in some music creation software. Probably made by Sony, too.

There is also a tune like that in Peter Jackson's King Kong.

Lmao, it's not too similar in Kong though. Mike and I would have jumped all over that if it were, and the Kong score is a major production. So far Tres themes have only been found in commercials, games, and the like. Oh and in an anime series.. and perhaps other TV stuff.

I believe we've tried contacting Bill Brown for years without success. (Tatu..) I'd really like to hear from SOMEONE in the commercial music scene whom can confirm the existence of a universal stock music resource, especially confirmation on any one of the Tres themes..

The music in trespasser was likely composed from common music pieces written by someone. Then rights are sold to composers to reproduce the music their own way. This particular piece is seemingly quite popular, heard on it on a movie and a TV show once, some sci-fi show I think, maybe Andromeda or perhaps stargate
There is game on the ps1 that uses the same similar piece as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nShm_QKT ... re=related
Another usage of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exKwPZIR5v8

I pretty much knew all that :yum: I guess the info I'm hoping to find out is more specific.

Just to necro post with some relevant information (also, hi all, I'm still alive).
I was playing the game Chrome and came across some audio that I recognised from Bill Brown's score, it's 'Crashed Helicopter'. They're virtually identical, although Bill has added to it a little.

I've attached the audio, if it's of any interest.

For the file details of the other 'suspence' [sic] music from the game, I've attached a screenshot of the file details. It's got a title of "symph mom 13 sus", artist of "symphonic waves", and album of "symph moments".

Oh, I just checked the other ones and #14 is also similar to the ending of 'Raptor Chase 3'. I've attached this too (both are in 'Tres Mus.zip') - its title is "...pocz prologu" [sic].

Many games use the format .ogg for sounds because of it's smaller size.

I actually think there's a plugin for Windows Media Player which enables it to play .OGGs (had it on my old computer). Provided you have Windows, of course. :P

Don't want a new player just to play one set of songs. :yum:

Hmm a plugin sounds nice. Yes I have Windows 8.1 :P
Found one... Wants me to close stuff, will wait to install and see if it works.
