TresEd/GeomAdd Help-files

Post by Rebel »

It dawned on me while I was putting together my own help files that Andres' programs could really use them. I'm a bit rusty using the progs. myself, but if others are interested in posting up the Q n' As I'd be willing to transfer them to html and compile the stuff.

Just a thought . ..

Nice... I can't really add to it unless I know what you've covered (if you've covered much at all)

Actually, I hadn't done a thing for TresEd/GeomAdd, Rex. The image is from my own help files for the Shell Generator, t'was just an example of what kind of help file I could compile if others are willing to supply the info needed.

Not a bad idea Rebel 8) :) I was planing some detailed tutorials for the future but getting around to doing all that is the question in the midlle of exams, forum skins and website plans time is limited lol
maybe we can get everyone to help out or we could also use some stuff from the FAQ section ?

I made an attempt at making a help file for TresEd/GeomAdd and all the other utilities once. I got various bits of information on installing them and making shortcuts for easy access. Also got info on how to use geomadd.

Hey, sorry forthe double post but I must have edited my last post wrong so it never showed up as there being any new posts on this topic. Anyways in my above post I posted the download link to what I've got done in my attempt at a GeomAdd/Trespasser tutorial.

Aha. Just gone through it... Seems like a pretty good start to me. The English is a bit off in places and the html format can be a *little* odd here and there but overall, I think it could be built into a great generalized help file. If anyone else here is interested in helping with the creation of a Trespasser help file, I recommend helping out with this project.. If it turns out well enough, we could potentially use it for the help sections we've tentatively planned for the new site.

Thanks! I know the html format is a little weird sometimes but that's because I think it got messed up when I exported it. I'm using this crappy outdated help file creator. I should get a new one, usually I'm pretty updated with my programs. Maybe I'll start working on it again, along with those 2 levels I never got finished.
