Hopefully, the upload went ok (geocities doesn't behave well
with larger files (5mbs)).

Apply only to the demo version of tc_isle (30 minute timer ver-
sion) as it won't work with any other version. You shouldn't
notice any change except to the b29's windows which
should solve that nasty software crash.

Or, was the downloaded file corrupt...?
Dan, don't thank me until it works.
Just got that awful message, "file is not available". Not sure if it means your site exceede bandwidth limit, or the file can't be found...
Of course, that was back then. I haven't tried again yet...
Nope, still the same. "This page is not available".

Uh, yes. Actually,Dapper Dan wrote: That's very kind of you to offer. It's really not that big of a deal for me. I was just curious if regular Wine ran into the same thing. You and the rest of the team giving us TCIsle is very much appreciated.
it crashed near the B29 in both Wine/Linux and Windows if I played TC-Isle in software mode.
Since this is possibly a common problem in both Linux and Windows, if it's fixed in Windows, I guess that it will work in Linux, too.
If you're using firefox, just cut n' paste the address, Machf.machf wrote:This is annoying. Apparently, you can only download it using M$IE...
That'll work.
Yochenhsieh, yea same softmare glitch existed in Windows
environment as well. We were always aware of it, though
since we built the level around hardware rendering we al-
ways discouraged software mode -- I personally never an-
ticipated linux becoming a consideration....
That certainly is a rather... peculiar behavior.Anonymous wrote:If you're using firefox, just cut n' paste the address, Machf.machf wrote:This is annoying. Apparently, you can only download it using M$IE...

got the file successfully. The site keeps going over its band-

I did it that way to confirm it, though I had already downloaded it with M$IE earlier...

TCIsle takes a little bit more patience to install since it has the keygen which will not work in Linux. I have to drag the files over to Windows XP to do it, then back to Linux so I've not gotten to it yet. I think I have TCIsle already installed on my old SuSE 9.1 installation so I'll likely boot into SuSE and try it from there. Thanks again!Rebel wrote:Link's removed. *I'm assuming the bug's been fixed; no one actually said
anything to the contrary.

The TC-Isle demo doesn't require password to install. Despite that, the tresword utility does work with wine in Linux. (Wine now has a fake-registry system like Windows, so now the keygen has no problem in Wine.)Dapper Dan wrote: TCIsle takes a little bit more patience to install since it has the keygen which will not work in Linux. However, I cannot extract the zip file which I downloaded from Rebel's link. I'll wait until the fileplanet link posted and try again...
