Post by hppav »

Waiting in line to download it now. So this is a preview of the final version with Big Red's Tres updates, huh?

No. It's tc_isle (time restricted) made available to anyone with a computer. (But yea, Big Red's edits are of course in there)

To be clear, this is not, tc_isle_final but a demo version of tc_isle made available to those who don't own Trespasser.

OH, Gawd. This is why I've got high blood pressure! :D

*If, you already have tc_isle beta installed, just apply the latest patch , "Beta - Patch 2" v1.0a - 1.0b" from tc_isle's download page. That's a self-installer patch, which applies Big Red capabilities to the level as well as fixes a few minor bugs.

**If you don't have tc_isle_beta and don't own Tres, then download the demo. Truly, this file is mainly meant for promotional use, such as an updated demo to trespasser, that's why it's available to the G.P. Now, like Machf, he collects all files for his cd burn collection, so I'd assume that he'll download it to keep that collection up-to-date.

Rebel are you guess releasing this to like a world-wide audience?

Can I go to like a big gaming site and see an article entitled "Trespasser Revived! Download here!" ? :?

Dunno, Maan. That'd be up to MadPpiper or Remdul to do so since they're the only true representatives of trescom. I know that both, the andrenaline vault and pc gameworld have pages available that allow you to submit and upload demos and other types of software (as does fileplanet), but that doesn't mean that they'd necessarily accept them after review either. It's kind of dicey, whereas TresCom is actually the author of the work, but technically not the true owners (that'd be EaGames and Dreamworks).

I'd like to see it, sure. It'd help promote the game, help this community.

It's basically an edited demo engine with different data files.

Please be careful about what's discussed, gentlemen. We don't want to help out Non-Trespasser owner newbies too much. ;)
