We're finally abandoning gamespy? Great! This server is way too annoying. :?

MP, we do need to have a quick chat. You have the hi_rez version in hand, but I want to give you a couple of readme files to place inside the first window (where trescom.exe resides).

Also, if you could help me out on your end, we could get the low_rez version straightened out tonight rather quickly.

*Remdul, I don't think you'll have any problems with 98 either. I've already played it on not only 98, but even on a win95 machine.

Just wanted to see how it would run on an older comp, with an older version of DirectX, older gfx card. I didn't expect any problems, but I wanted to check anyhow. Not much difference in performance compared to my current machine, that probably means that we've reached pretty much the limit of what the engine is capable of.

Btw, I received a package this morning, opened it and oh la la, look what we have here: Half-Life 2 and Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, not to mention the Stargate and The Abyss soundtrack CDs. :yum:

Even tho, I'll check back with you guys as much as these products allow me. :)

ran into a few problems creating the installer...

right now it's around 100 megs (99.something). So I'm highly concerned about the size...

I may however get it smaller by using some tricks...

All you need is that password program that you gents used for the lost models, MP. No need to get too fancy. If the installer adds 30 megabytes to the level, then it's junk. Get rid of it....

I think thats just because the files don't get compressed much with that app...

right now I'm waiting for nem to send me that reg-checker over... once I got that file I'll try to get it all packed...

I guess. I know winace can zip that up at around 70mbs and even winzip at normal compression below 80.

*I take it you had no problems with my email instructions....
