So your saying the scenes such as the Rex shack, view/tar pit, and raptor gorge we're all in separate levels and we're never part of the real game? If so why would they go to the trouble of creating unique pieces and concepts if they didn't intend to use them?

Earlier this year I asked Seamus on Twitter about the picture with the wooden shack in the woods and the T-Rex shack image. He said those were created for the marketing team. I believe the images like these are also part of things made for the marketing team to market the game, and never anything they actually planned to have in the game. He said the marketing team demanded the images and he always thought they were a waste of time.

If we have images of something that looks like a rendering image, or like these above, it is pretty possible they were made only for marketing.

Aww, sounds like accidental parenthood. The disowned model comes back years later to visit its creator... "Sorry, Rex Shack, you were an accident."

Well in the Trespasser source files, there is a heightmap called "Shack scene" which may be the one that had said shack.

Well, it's likely it was custom made using that heightmap. The only other location with any similarity is up in Pine Valley, near those Mayan ruins...
