Yep, tires will be there. Maybe the tires on this island didn't taste as good as the ones on Site-B.

Added the cartman smiley Rebel. You can use

Code: Select all

as shortcut-code.

I was aiming for a specific rock formation for a side bank of our lhouse area, so I decided to attempt the modelling job on my own, Rem. Think it came out fairly decent, what do you think?

I'll take a look at it later. I think I'll go landscaping a bit near the river, upload the new terrain + river terrain objects when I got it done. :)

Uploaded another model:

http://home.planet.nl/~buijs512/trescom/scrub1.zip

Scrub, nice plant to fill up the spaces between trees, though should be use to much. Will probably make a few more variations later.
Zip includes one new texture, other is shared with those in the jungleveggies zip. Also uses an existing palette.

*PS. have you tried updating the palm tree textures? I never tested the new leaf textures but it should look a lot better...

Yeah, but the newer palm leafs didn't appear to render too well in-game except when close up. I'll probably give them another look though --

*New shrub looks good. Fits the theme quite nicely. :)

Got a new version of the scrub2 plants:

http://home.planet.nl/~buijs512/scrubs2_v2.zip

Lowered the polycount by 50%. There where a few bugs in the geometry as well (4-double faces). Should render a lot faster now. 8)

Rem, I was thinking about a rock slide formation in one locale of our island. I suck at modelling, but perhaps the 1st pic would give you an idea of what I was thinking. (the second pic shows the area where this formation would go) Whatd'ya think?

Glad you like the idea. (deleted other stuff here) :) I thought my modelled rocks sucked, so I used your river rocks with varied textures and sizes instead. Looks much better --

Location looks pretty indeed. :)

You probably have noticed that the river rocks do have a texturing problem on one bottom side of the rocks. Just keep that side facing the ground, or cover it up with other rocks, plants etc.

Here's another item:

http://home.planet.nl/~buijs512/trescom/crowbar_v1.zip

Shares the same palette as the chainsaw. :)

T'was thinking of breaking up the shoreline a bit going down towards our b29 area with a little rocky shoreline. Not sure that $models respond accordingly with various scale sizes though, so may have to add the $models to all various sized rocks. Have to check that one out. :cartman:

Looks very neat indeed Rebel. 8)

There's some unfinished business I really need to deal with, I hope to be able to get back working on the level by tomorrow.
