Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
Okay, I'm having a problem. You see, I want to convert the .Wav files in the Stream.TPA to OGG for TCRF wiki since nobody here wants to help because they're "Scared". The problem is, they're not in a viable format audacity can read. I could use some help to convert them into a regular PCM .wav format. If you can tell me of a tool that can do this, that would be great. Thanks.
Re: Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
Audacity can't? That's odd. I guess it's the APDCM ones, maybe...
Are you sure? Because I've just tried and opened one without problems, and I'm using Audacity 1.2.6...
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/manual- ... rmats.htmlAudacity can read and write this format, including ADPCM on all platforms.

Audacity requires an extra FFmpeg library to open IMA ADPCM. Go to edit>preferences>libraries.
Oh, how long. . . .

Re: Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
It tells me "audacity recognizes the format but is unable to import it."

Then try to upgrade your version, I know that solved my problem once. That's all I can suggest. Or see if your FFmpeg library is the latest version.
That's all I have.
(If all else fails, you can use audacity to record audio as you play them back through TPA Reader)

Re: Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
I'm not too sure the guys on TCRF would appreciate rips of that quality if I did option 2. They tend to be very nitpicky about the quality of things on their wiki. Like you must submit all screenshots as .PNGs and etc.
btw: http://tcrf.net/Jurassic_Park:_Trespasser Funny thing is, the guy who made this article found my youtube videos and used them on the page. I need to probably upload versions without the music.

Who wrote that?
There was never such a cheat, BigRed just added it (the same way he added the "Matrix Effect", "follow dino" and "laser dot" cheats). There was a cheat to access Third Person mode that was disabled before the final release. However, it was reenabled by BigRed when he made the ATX patch

About the golf club in IJ. IIRC there is a voiceover in the Script for that. Might fit there.

Re: Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
Yeah I knew about that. Need to figure out how to rip the thing first though first. Well actually, I can rip it, I just need to figure out how to convert it to a format audacity can read.

Have you try using the TPAHack tool in TresCom's downloads?

Re: Converting the wav files ripped with TPA Reader
A rather old post, but I'm pretty sure the adpcm decoder on my temp page (see my sig) exports a standard pcm wav. From there, you can import it into any standard sound program. tres' compressed wavs are true oddballs -
