Incredible.

Well, it seems you have already mastered mudbox. Your trespasser remake will greatly benefit from this (yet, another) skill set.

Very impressive. :) Are you basing the statue on the actual E.R. Burroughs? If so, you're pretty spot on, though his head is perhaps a bit less round.

Yeah, I'm working off pictures of him, but I'm also paying close attention to a drawing of him, which does a great job of capturing his detail in a somewhat exaggerated way. I've made quite a few changes to his face since this shot was taken and he has a more accurate head.

From some angles you can't tell his head is quite unusually shaped, but get the right angle and its really obvious.

I'm curious about the stance, where they got the inspiration from. I haven't come across any photos of him standing the same, so I guess they just made it up.

Okay, cool. :) Regarding the stance, it always seemed to me that this statue was intended to be John Hammond originally - the cane, suit and general shape remind me of Hammond a lot.

Same here; when I first spotted the name Burroughs in the statue, the first thing I thought was that it was some kind of joke or reference to Sir Richard Attenborough surname...
(I didn't know Edgar Rice Burroughs back then)

Hey guys, sorry for lack of news / updates.

I've simply had no free time for the project. In the last two weeks I turned my computer on once, and i didn't even get to log in.

I'll get back into it eventually, I just can't allocate any time right now.

Cheers.

I joined just to say that I'm extremely excited about your project, good sir. I loved Trespasser but always knew it could've been much, much better. I've followed several mods over the years for various games, but this definitely takes the cake. You've made something absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to explore it. Keep up the amazing work!

Too much work is bad for you and all that!:)

Hey guys, you may want to check out Trespassing's site, there's been some important news updates. Just figured I'd mention it since s13n1 hasn't been on for a while. :)

Check the TresCom News page 8)

EDIT: Hmm, I believe I installed the level correctly into the \CryEngineSDK\GameSDK\Levels\Singleplayer\ folder, but when I load the level I am in a dark underwater area and can't swim out of it.... Not sure what's going on there.
