I had that problem too. I think it happens on Windows Vista and up (including Windows 7). As hppav said, setting it to "Run as Administrator usually solves the problem.

You JPDS problems sound like they're due to the fact that you don't have any of the levels. Due to the large [file] sizes of the levels, they all come individually. You must download them and install them individually. Each can be found in the downloads section of TresCom.

Hey guys. Sorry to bring up an old topic, might just make a new one as the site nears completion, but the site has been more or less updated. I would rant on about it here, but you can just check it out on the site's main page.

As always, the link is in the signature.

Oh, and something that I didn't mention that just came up today is that I think I might start making the videos again, new technology came my way.

*Records two whole new parts of the let's play, with HyperCam recording game sound*

*relieved*

*starts editing in movie maker*

*plays videos, no sound recorded by HyperCam*

*slams head into screen repeatedly, screaming*

Guess I'll have to do the town all over again and then start recording where I would have, as the save was overwritten. I think it might have happened because HyperCam was skiping frames, when it didn't say it was.

EDIT:

*wait, there are no sounds at all*

*realizes speakers weren't plugged in, and realized I couldn't hear sound because I didn't have headphones on*

*relieved again*

Still have to get used to it! :D LOL!

I've asked the same question. I think he included the whole Jurassic Park soundtrack in uncompressed form or something like that...
Excuse me? I'm not an idiot.

I remember you did include some sort of music samples that weren't compressed...

There's only one music track in ED; it is very large but IIRC we could not figure out how to compress it without losing quality.

Hello I'm new so forgive me if I trespass.. :P lol I just installed Trespasser and I installed the 1.1v patch and when I try to run it, it goes to a black screen and then closes out with a message saying "fatal error occurred, press okay to exit." Thought it was compatibility mode, but I've tried about everyone. I run windows 8.. so I don't know. please help lol.

Someone who knows what the 1.1v patch is should respond here... I recommend downloading both Trespasser Twilight (link in sig) and the latest Tres CE version. It has/they have what you need to play/mod Tres. :)
