Yes, DieHard it was! Must be nearly 10 years ago :o. Wasn't it called Trespasser Hacking society first? I don't remember if I was around back then.
Dude, the game was almost new at the time!!

No, that was a different organization, Istor. Before DieHard, some of us hung around TresNet, TrespasserSecrets and another forum I can't recall at the moment. Tsord & Andres were a part of THS, when that broke apart TSord opened up the Trespasser Secrets site. MadPpiper & Remdul hung around Secrets, when TSord disappeared (sadly, we know what happened there), that's when they started up the DieHard boards.

I would call this an unnecessary necro :/ you didn't really add anything purposeful to the topic... And do you mean the tool TresEd or the topic?

I have a question. As I know Trespasser was reverse-engineered for ATX, would this be possible for TresEd too?
Is there any way to hack in a way for the TresEd to view the terrain by default in Terrain edit mode but without the possibility to edit it? And be able to select objects while in it? It would help a lot as the terrain don't show properly in normal view, specially not big ones, while it does in Terrain edit mode. Like locking TresEd in Terrain Edit mode but with the possibility to select and move objects?
Would this be possible? Like making a special exe only for this?

If I get good at programming in a few years time, I'll merge the game and utilities and add multiplayer.

Anything is possible, but you need to find someone willing to do it...

Oh, and in Terrain Edit mode, the terrain isn't "smoothed out" while rendered, that's it, I'd say...
