One year ALREADY?!

Yeah, today I've been member of TresCom for a YEAR. I don't belive that much time has passed so fast! But I must say, this year have been really great! In a such open and nice forum, it's difficult to feel uncomfortable .
This post will be pretty short, since I'm tired and need to go to bed NOW, since I have to wake up "early".
Anyways, last month I decided to make a small level for the occasion. Though, as the level grew bigger, more problems arrived as problems with the AI. So, this level suffered for a while, since I cutted the level down a lot. At last (today) I decided to delete about 65% of the level and focus on the look of the rest of the level. So, there you go, the level and some pics from it.

Beautiful level! I can tell you made good use of SI's Redwood level (or? maybe there's another reason for what I see in the pines). It's great to see a raptor doing things other than hunting you.. Aaaaand it's also very sad that 65% had to be cut I do wonder what the rest looked like...

And congrats on 1 year at TresCom. May it be the first of many.

dang nice lookin level. I wish i could contribute something to the community but tres ed is one fps on my computer and i also ROYALLY SUCK at any of the technical stuff of making levels. any way nice lookin level.

TRT, what settings do you try to run TresEd at? Choosing Low texture res when opening is pretty light on a system, generally, and you can even go less than that.. Plus you can turn shadows off, hit the L key to make all textures self-lit, and be sure not to have high object or terrain detail on if it's an issue..

Oh and Anna, is there a gun in this level I didn't see? From the descriptions you gave me, I realized after going to bed that there should have been some event connected with it.. o-0

I already tried all of those and it makes it go 3 fps at the very best.

No idea, all i know is this computer doesnt have a video card, has xp, and has 256 megabytes of ram

I'd order dsl from my phone company for the 25 a month, but the service hasn't gotten to my crappy corner of the city yet. They've always ignored us miner hillers (old coal company land). Hell, we were the last ones to get paved roads. ..
