Machf, did you ever find what the first two entries (after silence wave) were in the Effects.tpa?

Hmmm... I don't think so. Or maybe one of them.

I finally managed to find another one from Effects.tpa:
The only version where it's NOT present is in the Demo...

Ohh cool!
You should just create a program that can test run lots of different name variation and when they match the hatch of one we don't know, it saves it. It might take forever to run, but maybe we'll one day find them all

The program I have already written is better than that.

Well, I went ahead and updated the TPA listings... as always, you can download the files from the links in my signature.
I'll keep trying to find the remaining sound names, there are 50-something still left.

Oh
Btw. Why is Build 96 and 97 different sizes? Ain't those the same TPA version?

No idea where the filesize difference comes from... the 96 version has some values in boldface, which makes the resulting file a bit larger when stored in .ods format, but when saved as .xls, somehow it's 97 which gets bigger.

Too bad drag sounds aren't made often.
My favorite sound in Trespasser is still the rex-foot-on-metal-terrain....

I've been looking at the various versions of the .tpa files to try to find out some thinmgs...
These three sounds:
appear for the first time in the Effects.tpa file from Build 96, but they aren't part of the Foley Table until Build 103. There they are assigned to interactions between material "Vehicle Fall" and various types of terrain materials. Other interactions of material "Vehicle Fall" with different materials use value 4349829B, "Metal Vehicle", which is included since Build 55...
These other four sounds:
Code: Select all
B4F55DC2
2DFC0C78
4B815944
D28808FE
also appear from Build 96 onwards, where they are in the Foley Table, used for interactions between material "Trailer" and various types of materials. The first two share the same name but end in "01" and "02", respectively (or "1" and "2", or "A" and "B", maybe), and the same applies to the other two. Other interactions of material "Trailer" with various other materials use variations of "Aluminum".
