It's easy to increase the damage. A little too easy, actually. The thing with collision-type weapons like Nedry's mace is that, as a direct result of Tres's imperfect physics, they can easily become lodged in the dinos' physics objects and do way more damage than they are supposed to. Nedry's mace in Tres is pretty much a 1-hit K.O., but if you look it doesn't actually deal that much damage in script. I'm pretty sure this is the same type of phenominon that can cause raptors to die when hitting crates the wrong way (or the player even o_o).Dapper Dan wrote:If the damage can be increased with non-firearms type weapons, then swords, knives and axes would be a fun way to go...
@hilwo: Quake thingy?
Yep. You can find a thing shaped like the Quake logo there.

There is a quake logo in one of the level's basements. It can be used as a weapon, and is extremely powerful

Re: Trespasser Arena
Reading this (ancient) topic has given me a sweet new idea..
Basically the same as what's been described here, except, have it be a very enclosed space, with various hazards (dropping to your death, maybe some spikes occasionally jutting up), and have the dinosaurs respawn infinitely, in the same order... And then people can report how many cycles they survived. It would also be great to use the "chears" and "boos" suggested in this thread..
