How can I change a level to load as a night level?

Depends, on how night you want it to be. For personal use, you can just load up the TestScnNght Level, then exit and load another. You'll get a residual night-time effect.

For shared level use, you need to alter certain lighting settings; don't recall the settings, but I know that the Demo at Night that you can download in the level's section of trescom has a decent example of the settings.

0,0,0 coordinates, diamond triggers. Check those settings --

It's not there! I'm looking at the JR level if that helps.

I have played TestScene at night and then gone to another level. It doesn't work for me.

Maybe you need the patch?
This is truly one of the most disappointing moments in gaming history. Gamers are being reduced to digging through the game's installed files to discover what was supposed to happen in the game they just bought.

Each level has a different sky, and those skies won't stay the same, so why the night sky?
