Sooooo after some inspiration and a few hours I've decided to give my adopted Baryonyx both a home and a name. Say hello to Maharaja!

What a fun idea! Would be cool if we could all pitch in a dinosaur or two and make our own "TresCom Jurassic Park".

Also, nice bary model...somehow I never would have thought ot just remove the spine on the spino. Might have to use that model as a basis for a new bary model...

You never realized back then S.I. and myself (as "The Hatchery"), long before Dr. Wu, spliced together parts of the Spinosaurus, Baryonyx and Suchomimus?

As long as it isn't "Prehistoric Park" (name already taken)...

I don't remember for which level it was done (maybe it was for The Lagoon? The Purussaurus Swamp? Xmax Gift?), or if it got released at all... I'd have to go through my MAX files on my old P4 PC (which yesterday was giving me a BSOD as soon as it finished booting, even though a few days ago it was fine).
EDIT: it seems it may have been a problem with the mouse extension cord. Go figure...

A quick look at the JPDS files in TresEd tells me the Suchomimus there is NOT the spliced-up dino...

Huh. Yes the sucho in JPDS is straight from The Lagoon. Was going to use it here until I had the thought to try the Max-vertex-mod for dino skins using SpinoN, and vuala.

Week 2!
If you look to your left, you will see the carnivorous Baryonyx, enthusiastically eating his latest meal of raw TresCom Rescue boar meat. Spared no expense!

Nice little update. You should come up with a way for the player to "feed" him, like pushing a button which raises a cage containing the boar up into the exhibit ala the Rex in JP.

It's definitely doable - one of the last things I did in that old RTJP level was create such a device for the player to use to get somewhere, and at one point I had a goat riding it up. Though sometimes as usual the CAnimal got a bit stuck in the geometry.
