As a couple of you know by now, I'm planning on starting a new youtube show called "Chaotician Drac" in which I play the part of a chaotician from the Jurassic universe who talks about chaos and metaphysics and travels around to alternate dimensions, meeting various human and non-human entities. My discussions and some of the personal interaction will be actual video of me with some props and do-dads, but a considerable amount of the show will take place in digital sets (machinema) within Trespasser, designed to suit the stories as they come up. The first episode will be on-air in the middle of December. In the meantime, as I write scripts and wait for props to arrive, I have begun building the sets to be used in the show. Some locations will be known simply by a dimension identification tag ("Dim-#####@"), including the prehistoric JR mod I'll be doing in which I meet my saurian assistant. The second episode will feature an actual dimension from Mayan mythology - Xibalba, the underworld. 'Tis a place of death, decay, skeletons, and dangerous folk, including a friend and main character in the show, Ah Puch. Xibalba is entirely within underground cave systems; it is said to be present in the world at night time, and so I'll eventually be using Lee's star-data technique to get the stars of Mesoamerica in ancient times, to be seen at a couple locations in the set. It's going to be fun creating Tres levels designed to function as successful recurring sets as opposed to publicly released gaming set-ups. Stay tuned for more of this and other sets as I build them!
Concerning those old computer towers, did you model them yourself? Look nice!

Hey, that's a really nice set of models you've got there! I thought you said you weren't getting back into Max!

Slugger - yes I did. Basically I took general inspiration from the computer tower-looking things in SG1, and the "comp" models in the IT Ops Center, and put on geo plant textures.
TI - I decided several weeks ago now to get back into Max. My memory's a little vague on the sequence of my decisions but my intentional non-Max days, enforced to remove the modeling step from modding endeavors, are now over. And damn it's potent. This is only what I've come up with for the first episode.
Very cool! Is that meant to be somewhere in Central Europe? Although I wouldn't precisely call it "complete" unless all of the houses have full interiors as well...

Complete as/in a town with a full complement of houses, in whatever state...
And no not really.

I can't tell if I should be afraid or be jovial watching this footage. What happened to your head?!
