Can't wait for Chaotician Drac, Dinosaur whisperer part 3. Also I am super curious about the in game dinodex you were using for interdimensional travel. Like what did you do to make it do so many things, is it editing? or is it scripted to act that way?

Re: 'Chaotician Drac' - Now On Air
Thanks Deagles! Unfortunately the next CGI episode is on hold until I can afford a new computer. The video editing software now runs too slow to be operable
The IX-Device is designed after the JP/// toy "Dino-Dex" and achieves its on-screen behaviors through scripting. There are open- and closed-covers which alternate visibility, and the main screen has a scripted animation which goes to the BMP that I want it to on-command by "using" the object ingame.
To update you all - further videos will be Stop-Motion until further notice. I have plans in the works to get some actual stories going behind the mini-scenes there are currently.
Latest one has music with it, thanks to my friend Michael here at the coffee-shop:

Yeah I legit have the dinodex too, and even made a few bloody ridiculous stop animations about Jurassic Park myself.
Re: 'Chaotician Drac' - Now On Air
Remember seeing that in stores when it came out, but I was never really enough into hand-held electronic stuff like that to want it. A friend of mine had it - I remember playing the dino battle game and saying to him something along the lines of, "Yeah, that's neat, but have you seen Warpath and Dinosaur Battles?", both of which I've had since around the time of JP3.Deagles4life wrote:Yeah I legit have the dinodex too, and even made a few bloody ridiculous stop animations about Jurassic Park myself.
I also recall confusing this with ScanCommand at some point, but ScanCommand was just a more tedious (and expensive) version of Dinosaur Battles.

Deagles, that sounds awesome. Do you have them around to show off (the stop-mo films)?

Re: 'Chaotician Drac' - Now On Air
Yeah I have it on youtube, although I am pretty sure there are a few more somewhere that I haven't uploaded.
As a kid having watched the Jurassic Park trilogy I was annoyed that Jurassic Park 4 wasn't out yet so I decided to make my own movies with my JP toys.
I think I made like 4 of them and burned them to blank discs even made cover art for the dvd box with a back and shots from the stop animation.
I have 2 of them on this youtube playlist I am linking, and a weird jurassic park/doctor who cross over stop animation thats not in the playlist.
