Are you loading a dinosaur, or a regular object like a car or tree?

You can actually use TPDC as a .tpm file viewer. Just load up any .tpm file, go to the editing tab, then click "Select Skin Mesh..." and select whichever object you want to see. It'll show up in the viewport.

I haven't tested loading scenes other than dinosaurs yet, so TPDC might behave strange with some files.

I'm already tossing around ideas for an app named TpmView, based on the source code of TPDC.

Pretty cool; tried it out with a gun, though I didn't modify it. :)

I have an idea of what might be wrong, it shouldn't be a solid gray color to begin with, you should see the dark gridlines. Try rotating around until you see something, at least try to bring the grid up. :)

Maybe he's using 16bpp instead of 32bpp or something like that, I think I noticed that once.

You should at least be able to see the grids in the viewport right after starting TPDC.

Second Illiteration, can you tell me what the Help > OpenGL Info screen shows? What's the vendor, renderer and version?

Which operating system are you running? Do you know what graphics card is installed?

Hmm, strange. I never tested it with ATI cards but it should work.

Download this app below and run it:

http://home.planet.nl/~buijs512/downloads/watersim.zip

Tell me if it shows anything. If it doesn't, could you upload a screenshot?

Well, I used the same code to set up OpenGL in the water sim app as TPDC, so it's rather stange that it doesn't work in one app and does in the other.

Just upload a screenshot of TPDC right after running it, maybe there's something that should be different.

After you press the print screen button, you can always go into paint and paste the image you just took. Then save it as a jpeg and upload it for viewing

here's the screen shot....note: the fps numbers in the lower right hand corner continue to keep changing when the program is opened.

Also, if I click in the view area and drag like I'm selecting a large area it does this...
