[quote="tatu"]I see your problem! You have "Enable editing of terrain objects" enabled on the toolbar. That's why you don't see the terrain! Uncheck it!
Thanks tatu That worked.. I got the terrain

Re: If I have the .wtd file
It will not import the textures to set up the level.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
You need to explain it more. Does GeomAdd gives you an error? Do the import work but don't show up in TresEd? etc.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
ok.. ya.. sorry.. it worked in geomadd.. but nothing is showing up in the level itself. do the terrain textures and other stuff need to be imported anywhere specific.. been using 0,0,0 and that is quite a ways underground in my level appearently.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
Be sure you're not exporting the objects with it's position from the other level. When you export an object, there is an option to select to export the object in the 0,0,0 position.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
in the shell generator folder there are folders to import sky, player, trn objects, etc. Those are what I am trying to import.
Using geomadd I am importing the file in the necessary folders there... as of right now I have a grey ground and nothing to add to it.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
The objects in the Shell folder is not placed at 0,0,0, but rather like they are located in the Test Scene level. Here is your level with all the basic stuff that's needed.

Hint: Press "P" to see all objects. Objects based on the type will have a different colored dot. Red for regular objects, green for triggers and physics.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
After careful checking of everything I do not see anything else in the level. I tried just importing models in there and nothing.. something has to be not right here.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
I tried importing other stuff, and nothing is appearing to use it.

Try searching for the stuff you import!

Re: If I have the .wtd file
does this picture mean I have a smaller area than what the old terrain was or what?

Re: If I have the .wtd file
It only means you need to have more terrain textures... make copies of that one and tile them around it until you get the whole terrain covered.

Re: If I have the .wtd file
Two methods to find trnobjs (and other models):
- hit "p" to show red/green points for each object
- use Ctrl+F to find objects by name
