Tress export map all at once

Post by Shep »

Is there a way to export the entire map of trespasser and have them go in their own locations when opened in max instead of all of them being in the center?

Also wondering this. At the moment I've got the whole terrain properly set up, but it would be great to have the definitive locations just to be sure.

Just uncheck the option to export the tpm to (0,0,0) and it will use the same location as in the level.

I was talking about if you could export the entire trespasser map as .3ds and then open it in something like max or blender with all the models there in their location and the terrain in the right location and all the same size.

The tpm does work though but it won't have the models.

Eh what do you mean? Of course it will... Us modders occasionally export "the entire level" as a single TPM file to export all textures. As a note, terrain objects (as a whole) must be exported separately, if the select-all option is used (alternately, select everything else first, then hit CTRL+SHIFT+SELECT on one instance of each terrain object to get them all).

If you figure out how to get the entire map.. can I please get a copy of it? I am working on building the game up from the 97 walkthrough with all the levels shown in that document.

I am able to get an entire copy sent to gmax but I have to select every single model in the game and it doesn't include terrain so I would have to do that also.

In TresEd: Visibility > Select All :) Use the method I stated above.
