Trespasser + Carmageddon = Cool!

Post by s13n1 »

Dunno if anyone else has seen this or posted it, but i came across it this morning and thought it was pretty darn cool.

Some nice work done importing the Trespasser levels and models, and i must say the levels look pretty darn nice in some if those screenshots. Nice resolution and lighting.

Great work by some very creative and enthusiastic individuals.
First thing i thought about when i saw their work, maybe you [s13n1] could trade some work with them.
You didn't show your work yet did you? I bet they will be blown away by it.
My guess is after showing your work on the island, one or two guys would probably want to work on assets you need. :)

It was work related. The owner of those disks worked for a company that sold JP stuff. He opened the disks on his wife's Mac to find only simple graphics assets (borders for websites, dna, icons, ... ?) and pictures already found on the web, but nothing of real use on it, "not even a JP logo". But it's all said in the thread.

That's what happens when I pay attention only to the posts with development screenshots in them :P It's probably a collection of graphics from that old InGen Intranet thing they had with the Lost World promotional website, which was also reused for the JP: The Ride Online Adventure game.

Just took a look at it myself, and while I don't think the dinosaurs look that good, yet, it's actually looking pretty cool.
