I've recently had Windows 8 installed on my computer on just yesterday, I re-installed Trespasser.
I've encountered a problem I've not seen before; when having entered the level select cheat, not
all levels show up in the menu. I tried to scroll down, but it seems they're just not there. This
applies to the Night version of the TestScene and the demo level, which I added myself. Anyone?
Edit: I made a mistake, this is on Windows 7...!

Re: Levels not showing up with level select cheat?
I'm still using Vista right now, though I'm getting a new desktop for Christmas. Dunno if it has 7 or 8 though. If it has 8 then I would be able to look at it then, but hopefully someone else here has Trespasser working on Win 8 and can help now.

Sorry my bad, but I have Windows 7, not Windows 8. I previously had Vista and after my hard disk
died, a friend installed Windows 7 on it.

Never heard of that problem, been using Windows 7 for over a year, never had that problem. However, I've only used stand-alone enginers like Trespasser Twilight. I can check it out when I get home later tonight. Since I don't have any Internet at home I will get back tomorrow if I get the same thing.
Did you do a harddrive installation and so on?

Works fine for me. Are you sure you have all the .SCN files?

Try running it in compatibility mode, and as an administrator.
That is IF Windows 8 has that.

Re: Levels not showing up with level select cheat?
Thanks for the input everyone I reinstalled the game and it works fine now. Not sure what I did wrong (if anything).
I did a hard drive install, cd folder was called 'CD data' and I installed into a folder called 'Game data'. I don't think
problems could have occurred because of the spaces in the folder names?
And I might have applied the big patch instead of the EXE only patch, I know certain files are placed in a different
folder afterwards, maybe this caused problems?
Not sure what the problem could have been otherwise, but in any case it has been solved now
