Yes, I did forget about that. I'll probably mention it in Part 3.

EDIT: Part 2!!

Part 3 is finally out!

I was doing some Half-Life Source stuff for a while. I'll keep doing that though at the same time as this.

Also, here's some other Trespasser-related video I uploaded yesterday:

The song, "Calling" was the first one I've made in a while. I think it's the best so far though because of all the effects, mixing, and mastering I never did on the other ones. I hope you all like it!

Aaah, a interesting question indeed.

Although a more obvious question would be when am I going to make a new video, haven't made any for about 2 weeks now (mostly due to laziness).

I'll try to do it and get it uploaded tomorrow. :)

Well, might be a bit late, but i just recorded The Labyrinth and finished off Trespasser Legacy for once, I'll try to edit, render The Labyrinth now and upload it as unlisted, and link here for all those who want to get it early.

EDIT: Well here it is! It's still uploading, but later this embed player should work.

EDIT 2: I fixed the video above so it shows the proper version. Sometimes I hate video editing.

But here's the last part of Trespasser Legacy! :)

Thank you Nem

P.S. I wish these embed players were 16:9. Ah well, better than nothing.

Awesome, thanks a ton for doing these videos. It's really nice to have lasting playthroughs available to watch - I always find myself wishing I could see other people playing the levels. Are you planning to do more Tres videos eventually?
awesome24712 wrote:Sorry for the lack of videos. Been a bit busy with life.

Happy Easter everybody! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICh-vS7ldBc

EDIT: Geez Draco, now I'm facing copyright claims because of the music in the background.
XD Sorry about that! Nice to see it wasn't taken down in spite of that. BTW, you left out the ending overlay image of RaptorJesus wishing everyone happy easter...
machf wrote:I think that's Drac's test level then modified by Mickey to actually have an objective... but let Mickey himself clear it up.
Actually the level itself was done by me, but I had Mickey do most of the foliage work, which ended up being one of its primary appeals in my opinion.

Well done.... yeah, that's why the blood splats are piss colored.... <.< Seriously, it looks weird..... I love every other aspect of the TC levels, it's just that one thing that annoys me.....
It's my conclusion that they did not include any reds in the terrain palette when it was made and couldn't be bothered to update it. It does look kinda crappy but I've generally overlooked it.
awesome24712 wrote:Oh. :P Didn't know there was an updated version. I just downloaded what I saw on the TresCom download page.

Found the forum topic, downloading now. . .

Might make it into a part 2!
Someone might want to put the updated version on the site instead of the older one?

Man there was a lot of JPDS flaming in this thread... *sigh* I appologize for not living up to expectations. I believe one of JPDS's primary failures was that it started as my very first project, and so was not designed under the guidance I later acquired (though JPDS itself was one of my primary teachers). It was also the case that I felt we couldn't scrap years' worth of work in order to make it better. I do believe it has its moments and features worthy of recognition, but alas, it seems my Tres legacy is in want of some improvement...
I want to note that some of the best places in JPDS - the HRS and the Hunters Camp - were not featured in the videos. Perhaps that can be done sometime; I'm quite proud of those areas.
Oh also, Awesome, you skipped the part where you activate the dam and go into the tunnel in the dam. There's a special sequence that goes with it... Anyway that's why the code didn't work at the EA - the power was not on. And yes, the EA itself was unfinished; I just prettied it up with scenery to make it look as good as it could from a distance. Sam/hppav's Ops Center model came in handy there.
