Where the sounds came from...

Post by TheGuy »

Okay, so today I just found a sound effect that's used in Trespasser. It appears as though the developers used The Hollywood Edge sound effects library.

Take a listen... sound familiar?

Note the lack of echo. I'll see if there are any more sounds in this collection that were used in Tres.

Edit: OMG! :O It seems as though many of these sounds are actually the ones used for the dinos as well! The steg sound effects are actually moose noises. :D

Hmmm... maybe if I go through the listing of the Hollywood Edge effects I can figure out the names of some other sounds.

Oh wow, awesome. Nice find. :P
Hopefully this'll help you machf. I'd go through a look but the internet access I have doesn't really let me do much more than view html. I'll definitely take a look at a later date.

this is a topic which has amused me for some time  not only did i hear Trespasser raptor vocals coming out of the raptor cage at the Jurassic Park ride in Universal Islands of Adventure, but just the other weak i heard King Kong make one of the herbivore snorting sounds (the new one by Peter Jackson), lmao!

Could this help us anything in discovering the last names in the TPA?
