I know that there's no way I have found every single news post regarding Trespasser (I only started looking yesterday) but here's what I've found so far:

05/14/98 - OGR posts a preview of Trespasser
05/27/98 - Build 22 aka E3 disc is completed for E3
05/29/98 - OGR posts a report from E3
06/02/98 - Blues News posts a report from E3
06/04/98 - Official Trespasser Site updated with info from their showing at E3
06/16/98 - Build 32 aka PCGamer Preview disc is created. Unknown if ever shown to PC Gamer magazine
07/15/98 - Raptor's Den interviews Brady Bell
07/19/98 - Raptor's Den interviews Rolf Mohr
07/20/98 - AGN releases multiple Vivo Clips.
07/21/98 - The Trespasser Team states that they want Mac port requests to end
07/24/98 - Build 55 is compiled.

08/14/98 - Trespasser Central posts image from Next Gen Magazine showing Anne

09/21/98 - Build 96 is last edited.
09/22/98 - Build 97 is last edited.
09/23/98 - GameCenter posts a 3D Engine Wars article.  Trespasser gets an honorable mention.
09/24/98 - Build 99 is last edited.
09/27/98 - SharkyExtreme posts screenshots of Trespasser
09/28/98 - Build 103 is last edited.
09/30/98 - SharkyExtreme posts "new high res images" of Trespasser which are just concept art.
09/30/98 - Rich Wyckoff declares "We're 1.5 weeks away from the near-certain release of Trespasser" in a guest editorial for LoonyGames
10/11/98 - Build 116C is completed and sent for testing.
10/11/98 - Rumors that EA has a disc in their hands for approval appear on TresCentral
10/12/98 - Build 116D is completed and burnt onto a gold Master Disc.
10/13/98 - Trespasser is signed off by EA for pressing.
10/14/98 - Dreamworks launches their official Trespasser site.
10/14/98 - Rich Wychoff declares "This week I'm beginning the Trespasser recovery process - yes, that's right, as far as I can tell we've shipped" in a guest editorial for LoonyGames.
10/15/98 - Austin Grossman is posts a guest editorial comparing storytelling in Trespasser to Half-Life on LoonyGames.
10/15/98 - Dreamworks tells Shooters that Trespasser will likely release the first week of November.
10/21/98 - The Trespasser Team Site declares the release date "It’s is official... Trespasser ships October 27th, 1998. It will be hit shelves throughout the week."
10/22/98 - OGR posts their initial impressions of a Silver Master copy of the game.
10/26/98 - OGR posts a full review of Trespasser, saying that puzzle solving gives you a sense of accomplishment but combot is dull.
10/28/98 - Trespasser spotted in stores.
10/28/98 - GameSlice calls Trespasser a noble attempt.
10/28/98 - Next Generation Online reviews Trespasser, tearing it to pieces.
10/29/98 - AGN reviews Trespasser, calling it one of the strangest games they've ever reviewed.
11/02/98 - Adrenaline Vault posts the demo of Trespasser at 30 MB.  They also review it as 2/5
11/03/98 - Game Interviews interview Brady Bell who says that a patch is in the works.
11/09/98 - Quake City interviews Brady Bell
12/01/98 - PC Gamer Online posts a short clip from "Trespasser II"
12/01/98 - The Trespasser Team release the small and full patch for Trespasser.
12/02/98 - PC Gamer Online says clip from Trespasser II was a joke
October's news seems to prove a few things about the beta discs we have:

10/11/98 - Build 116C is completed and sent for testing.
10/11/98 - Rumors that EA has a disc in their hands for approval appear on TresCentral
10/12/98 - Build 116D is completed and burnt onto a gold Master Disc.
10/13/98 - Trespasser is signed off by EA for pressing.
10/14/98 - Dreamworks launches their official Trespasser site.

AND

10/22/98 - OGR posts their initial impressions of a Silver Master copy of the game.

That means build 116C was the copy sent out to reviewers (Silver Master Disc) and build 116D was the actual Gold Master Disc. It is also interesting to note that Trespasser Central's intel was pretty good about EA having a copy of the game on 10/11/98.

Also note that many of the articles have been lost (especially AGN, Raptor's Den, and TresCentral. These dates come from other gaming sites)

Very interesting! I'm very intrigued about that "Trespasser II" video, even if it was a joke... Or maybe they were planning a sequel but because the game failed they decided to scrap it and say "No no no... It was... ahem... a... a joke, yeah..."

And lol that's a cool timeline for comparison. Now you should put in there the various outrageous claims at the times they were said...

Very interesting. I wonder if I managed to find any of those when I was doing Trespasser web archaeology back then... some 5 years ago or so.

As I like this kinda thing I added two entries to the list:
