is it ok if I take your tresed screenshots? I might forget to give you credit, so just remind me.

Do it... those are the ones that need backup the most.

BTW, I had forgotten to mention that I had to remove a power pylon in that last image... and a tree or two in the previous two ones, I believe... all just for clarity's sake.

And finally for the night, this other image which also is from IJ:

I had to remove a tree, the original in-game screen is like this:

The skin of the raptor and the presence of the Triceratops gave me a clue that it might be IJ, near the waterfall... and it was indeed.

No, there are still several that need to be found... three from JR, some more from IJ, ane especially, some from PV and the Plains.

Regarding the ravine in IJ, hmmm... from the ground textures maybe it originally was part of the ascent stages?

Again, if you're not planning this already, you should make an article. I for one, would be most interested in one

Ive got about 3/4 of the pictures, machf.

the picture I would love to learn more about is the one with the t-rex attacking hte 2 rapotrs. it has a huge waterfall and a rock that looks like a head.

also, anyone notice the mayan ruins in jungle road, real close to the plantation house. they seem out of place.

Could you show me the images you are talking about? And, I think it's gonna be impossible to locate the location of the Rex and the two Raptors...

OK, a couple more JR images...

Here's the "jr2" one:

Image

After lots of searching, I've come to the conclusion that this is the place, right at the start of JR:

The picture may not be a 100% exact match, but it's the closest you'll find, and the differences can be attributed to the elevation of the hill having been changed in the released game.

Here's the same spot with the plants from the right removed so you can see the elements from the monorail:

And here's the same place at the end of the Beach level:

Then there's the "jr3" image:

Image

This one proved a similar challenge, as the terrain around the place has also been changed in the final release. Here's the match (look at things like the trees in the back left, the small palm to the right, the leaves from the big tree to the right...)

In case you don't recognize it, it's where the Stegosaurus is, which I removed from the previous picture for clarity:

So, this leaves us with "jr6" still to be determined... but it's late and I need to sleep. Good night!
