Post by pb109 »

Ok from seeing only the movies and not reading the books, yet, when was Site B abandoned in relation to the catastrophy at JP ?
I assume after they went bankrupt. Dont give away the farm here I still want to enjoy the books ok :)

Isla Nublar (Jp) was abandoned in 1993 (late 1980's in the book)
Isla Sorna (The Lost World) was abandoned shortly after (not sure on the date).. probably between 1993 and 1997, book has it differently though.

Site B was supposibly abandoned because it was hit by a large hurricane as well, wasn't it?

The hurricane came after Site B was abandoned.

Oh yes, I remember. And it wiped out their Research center... according to John Hammond.
