Okay, so, it's me again. I started recording Trespasser and I found a problem.
For some reason, I cannot save the game. I get prompted to name it, and I write a name in, and then select "OK", but it does not save. My save will not appear in past saves, or in the load menu. I have tried pressing enter, as well. So far I have done the first level about 5 times because I am unable to save and uh... I would maybe enjoy having that feature. Lol.
Tried to find other threads solving this issue, but so far none have given a solution. Anyone know a fix?
Also, I decided to just finish the level and uh, this happened:
Uh....... Help? Lmao
Cannot Save Game (And also a kind of extreme graphical bug)

What, you don't like all your trees to be gray? XD
Sadly I don't know what caused your savegame error.. How did you go about installing the game?
And wait for others on the grayscape issue, but be sure you're using Trespasser CE.

That's happened before, although different people claim to get different colors, IIRC. I think it had something to do with the line ;Enable10bitDisplay=True being enabled; either comment it by adding the semicolon at the beginning, or set it to False instead of True.

EDIT: oh, and this tooProblem:
The game fails to extract SPZ files to SWP, make screenshots and
save savegames.
Cause:
You have no write-access to the game directory. Usually happens
when the game is installed in Program Files.
Solutions:
* Ideally the game should not be installed in Program Files. On
Windows Vista or later, a normal user has no write-access there,
but older games are designed around having write-access to the
game directory.
* Open the properties for the game EXE and check the checkbox
"Run this program as an administrator".
Problem:
Display mode fails to set or there are discolorations (on some
integrated video cards such as Intel).
Solutions:
* If you're running without DX9 then try DX9 (enable "UseDX9").
* Update display drivers.
* Disable "Enable10bitDisplay" to prevent the game from running in
enhanced 10-bits-per-channel RGB mode, if it has been enabled
(DX9 only).
* Disable multisampling ("MultiSamplingLevel") (DX9 only).
* If you're running in DX9 mode then try without DX9 (disable "UseDX9").

As machf already said, it is very possible it is that the game could be installed in the Program Files folder.
I believe the graphic bug could as well (along with what machf quoted) be related to that and that the game can remove the .swp it made for Beach with the new one from Jungle Road. Either install it outside of the Program Folder in like "C:/Trespasser/" or run it as admin and see if that helps.

If the problem is Windows write privileges, it should be easy to fix. Right-click on the Trespasser folder, click Properties, click the Security tab, click Edit, a window will open, click Add, enter "everyone" in the text box then press Enter, now select Everyone, and make sure the box for Allow/Full Control is checked, then click Okay.
Test to see if that works and let us know.

Or of course right-click and Run As Administrator.
