Hello! Long time no post.
So I was learning C++ and decided to make a fun little project to test what I learned. I had to look up some tutorials for changing the console's color defaults and the name of the program, but other than that it was all on my own.
I was basing this off of that online jurassic park console website also. Oh, and I used the exe's icon with that of the one in the tres source.
Edit: type help for system commands, and you cannot use caps or it won't recognize the command.

Re: My Jurassic Park Console
Entertaining.. Though, I haven't gotten far yet. What environments may be specified for access?
Re: My Jurassic Park Console
Well, entering the "magic word" is actually futile here. The code is pretty basic, so it doesn't actually look for an environment. I don't have the exact code with me right now, but it was something like
If (input == "answer")
{
print to screen "access not specified"
}
and then
if (input >= "access ") (I used something other than this later on because it just looked for the number of characters instead of the actual word)
{
print out "access denied", and after 3 tries spam "you didn't say the magic word."
}
Notice the space in the second line of code. So basically anything more you type after access will show access denied.
So this was just to replicate the movies console. The last thing I was going to add was for it to play that beep you hear in the movie after he types commands, but I had problems adding the includes to play the wav file. Would of been a nice touch though.

Re: My Jurassic Park Console
I see... Cute program. Sound would indeed be a nice touch.
Re: My Jurassic Park Console
So I got sound working...
Not gonna work on this any more but improvements could be made, maybe later.

Re: My Jurassic Park Console
Gah my AVG antivirus software just does not like these EXEs you are making. "This filename is rare and probably bad!" Fuck you AVG lol. Anyway it is getting stuck on the file scan so I can't really look this time..
Re: My Jurassic Park Console
Dang, lol... "This filename is rare and probably bad!" ... Oh, rare file name = bad? alright, let me rename it to "totally_not_virus_freemoney_2017.exe" Sure avg won't find that rare.
