Bill Brown is a filmmusic guru. He hasn't been able to score any big films yet, that's why he's not too famous.

thought he did a movie in the 90's
well, either way its good music, veiw of the island remind me a bit of stargate.

Indeed. I hear his music (especially Tres) all the time on History channel or Discovery documentaries and commercials.
