What is up with everybody?

Post by Ultra T-Rex »

The soundtrack absolutely blew me away when I first played this game. Magnificent! I came to this forum and I see two threads? What is that supposed to mean?

I think we should all just gather and praise this wonderful score! Only the man John Williams himself could have done it as good.

And btw, does anyone know where I can download the tracks?

Maybe it could be a reason that only musician are willing to post in a forum like this one.

But actually we got two more posts yet :)

*Points at craycrone* He's guilty! He said it!

I'm innocent. In other words, music writing isn't my strong side.

Btw, thank you for the link craycrone! I appreciate it. :)

I've made music, but it sucks

One of the things I liked about the soundtrack to Trespasser is it's very sparse approach. For a good deal of the game all you hear is the ambiance of wildlife croaking away in the background. When the music does come on, it doesn't get in the way, but manages to aid in the feeling of melancholy and isolation, wonderment, or terror. I like the jazzy music used in the 2nd intro movie (not the intro with hammond, the one with the answering machine.) It goes well with the rain to produce a dreary atmosphere.

The link works -- it's just that there an error accessing the database. I'd wait a while and see if anyone updates it.

You can extract them manually from the Tres audio files, but you'll need the program -- unfortunatly, TresCom downloads aren't quite working right now, so unless someone has a copy they can post (or even a zip of the soundtrack) you'll just have to wait until things clear up. :)
