tc_ops level and ATX 2.03 ? (works OK with original exe)

Hi, I'm playing the game (installed from Hard Drive - minimum install) under XP with full patch applyed, ATX 2.03 properly installed. The base game is working perfectly with all ATX features. I installed some new levels (files went in tres cd\data), I also copied the .scn, .wtd and .grf files in the \Trespasser\Patch directory, and they are all working flawlessly. TC_Isle is also working in its stand-alone fashion. However, I can't get TC_ops to work with ATX 2.03. I can play the level with the standard Trespasser exe, but when I try to play it with the ATX exe it loads and then crashes to desktop with a "fatal error" message (both in hardware and software mode). I meticulously followed the step by step instructions found on these forums to install it. Would someone have any clue ? Maybe this is normal since TC_ops was made before ATX2 was released ?

Thanks a lot.

You know what, I think I have the same problem...

I have the same problem, but nobody replied to my distress call. (Though maybe the fact that I posted my problem in a dead topic may not have helped.) Does anybody know how to fix it?

First off, you needn't patch Tres for ATX2.0. There is a package available at the ATX homepage that includes pre-patched EXEs for ATX2.

As for the original TC_level, it just crashed when I tried to load it using the TresATX2 engine. Don't know, sorry...probably doesn't like ATX.

I still haven't found the time to switch harddrives and check out the
higher atx versions on tc-level, though I had noticed tonight that my
modified tc_isle stops working at atx 162 (I don't have the released
version available, so I couldn't check the official release).

I have no idea why, nothing comes to mind at the moment...

Should I make (and release) a patch for the TC Ops level based on what I mentioned, or should I still wait until you find your patch?

Sure, you might as well. Talk with Slugger if you wish as far as
releasing it in an official manner.

I just don't have any freakin' time lately. I've finally got a full day
off today and I've got to spend it cutting grass, trimming hedges
and tearing down a pool.

I'm better off at g'dam work. :cartman:

Well, here's my unofficial patch for the TC Ops level:

Didn't have time to make anything fancy in the end, so I just RARed the files, it's a little over 2MB so I guess that's OK.
