Hi I'm new. I've played Trespasser since it first came out and I love it. I thought I was the only one who liked it until I came to this site. Then I found the Trescom ops level and was amazed. now I downloaded the Trescom isle level and its awesome, the skin on the dilo is perfect, and the atmosphere it the Venture is creepy. Now I became a member to see when the finale version of Trescom isle level is coming out.

Also I have some questions, in Tc isle what's the code for the computer in the crater lab complex.
And how do I open the door to the elevator. I had to use the tele cheat to get in there.

Also I don't know if this problem has been addressed or not but when ever I go near the downed plane my game crashes and when I'm in the mines it cashes and freezes. But it only seems to crashes when I'm looking at it, if I walk backwards though the mines or look at the ground I can make it to the end.
And is it the one I downloaded or is there nothing but ground in the second level, tc-river.

Anyway the work you guys did is incredible keep it up.

The Trespasser engine tends to crash around the plane. We've discovered that this is because Software mode has difficulty rendering transparent textures, like those of the downed plane's windows. Playing on Hardware mode should fix the problem. I would expect this to fix your problem in the tunnel as well.

Goto Options > Video. The setting can be changed in there. If you have trouble, others will explain it further, or you can look around the forum.

Yeah, and the various waterfalls (rapids, rather) inside the cavern also use 16-bit textures, like the plane windows...

About that access code, just look around the lab, you'll find several ID carss lying around, one of them has the right code.

I believe the TC-River level was only included because TC Isle will automatically load it at the end, but it's far from finished (or maybe even, from started?).

A for when the final version of TC Isle will be released... well, that's THE Big Question right now, I fear the development may have been abandoned, from the lack of recent news...

I wish any surviving TC Ops member would tell us more or less at what stage it is. Needing further puzzles to be finished? More dinos to be added? More vegetation or decoration?

Ah, nice to see some still stumble across trescom and play the new
stuff.

tc-river level files are just base-line promo files; partial terrain and
no real clues as to what it was meant to be. The true river level is
in limbo and never went into actual production.

Tc_Isle Final is limbo as well. Remdul and I are pretty much inactive
these days. I post from time to time while Remdul peeks in to make
sure the site isn't falling to calamity. Beyond the shorelines being up-
dated and the dilos being replaced with 2nd generation spitters (the
recent frill unfurls/spit), little else has been done with the level since
the release of the last patch 1.0b.

Slugger, BigRed and a few other tresops members are still quite
active though their attention isn't on tc_isle or any other past pro-
ject.

Gone onto bigger and better things have they? Make me sad to see another big mod full in to disuse. It starts of big and is slowly is forgotten over time.
If you guys can't finish the final version of TC isle, I think you should get what you do have together and release a patch to make it as good as you can get it to be. Don't let it die as a beta.

First off, Welcome to the Forums :mrgreen: . Second, you should check out the progress on the latest mod, Jurassic Park Dark Secrets, or JPDS. It's gonna be amazing when it finally comes out. There are 3 planned levels for JPDS. Currently they're working on Level 1 still, and it looks sick. The beta is as good as it gets. Like Rebel said, only one or two little things were left. Basically it was one of those: "we better release know or else it will never get released" situations.

Remdul has, I've just gotten old and worn out. And I agree with
Slugger, the Isle's beta was a solid release, so I don't consider it
to be an abandoned project, but rather a successful one. Just as
good as most the retails (if not better) and a true non-linear level
which constitutes a complete island along with innovative puzzlin'.
Along with our work and Big Red's massive ATX revolution, we've
pretty much set the wheels in motion for bigger and better levels.

What's really missing? Well, mostly eye-candy (lighthouse n' lab,
venture, caverns), b29's back story (and associated models). The
missing meanie, the Ceratosaurus which isn't available even with
Machf's recent dino binge.

Am I personally disappointed that a final version isn't being made?
Well, maybe a little but I don't lose sleep over it --

Oh, you wanted that one too? Draco wants it for JPDS, as you may have already seen in screenshots, and that's why it isn't public yet...

Your Right the beta was good , really good.
For some reason I cant go to http://www.jpdarksecrets.com/ i get a "Error 504 '' Gateway Timeout."
But the jpds screenshots in the forums are awsome.

The JPDS Site is currently down. But with purpose. The downtime was planned as the server is being physically moved ;) Rest assured it will be back soon.

Did you beat TC_Isle? The end shows how Anne escapes from the Isle, but telling you how she escapes from TC_River might ruin the surprise.

The one I downloaded there is nothing in TC river, just ground, no dinos, no objects, nothing. Just a water fall i come out of, a small lake I land in, and the scuba tank I took with me.
