Oh, something I've been forgetting to mention: it may be a good idea to overwrite the files on the TresCD\data folder with the ones from the Trespasser\Patch folder. Otherwise, unless TresEd is really smart, you would be opening the old versions of the levels every time...

Checking the ATX Readme, apparently there may be other problems too if you have mismatched files...

I just did both of those things... but I'm getting the 'Trespasser requires 100MB of space to run' thing. This game is driving me into the ground  I'll see if it works later, when I'm not running so many programs :P

Unninstal a program or a game you don't use, then try to play the game again.

Yeah, Trespasser DOES require 100MB free in the drive where it is installed in order to decompress/copy the .swp files for the levels. Try to see if there are currently any .swp files in the "Trespasser\" folder and delete them, then try again.

Unless what you mean is that you actually have lots more of free space than 100MB and for some reason it doesn't look like it to Trespasser... that's not something I've seen happen, so I can't help you with that.

Just do what I said, and it will fix your problem.

I sometimes get that too, even though I usually
have around 30gbs of free space.

I guess it's some weird Windows XP quirk, then...
Do you have to uninstall something (anything), or is it the same if you only delete some file(s)?
Does it work if you install something new and uninstall it immediately thereafter?

Hmm... Really haven't tried anything besides fully
unninstalling a game or a program.

Next time i have the problem i'll try deleting some
files or even installing and unninstalling something,
as you said...

Sorry to bring back this thread, but it seems to be the right place to put this...

I have a new laptop computer, and I want to install Trespasser onto it, to see how it works out. I'm not bothered about editing levels etc. on my laptop - just playing it.
So... My question is, what would you guys recommend - small or large patch? Is there really any difference in terms of gameplay/performance etc. between the two patches once you have ATX?

I would say other than the level updates there is no difference between the two! I don't even bother extracting the patchs anymore as they don't really fix any bugs.

Of course they do, or it wouldn't be a patch there not major bug fixes but it fixes some objects placements and some minor corrections.
