Steg in TC_Ops

I was looking at the mother steg and her baby in Tc_Ops level. The mother steg is a canivore, the type that supposably attacks Anne. But I walk up to the steg in game, and she doesn't care about me. How did u make that happen. Is it cause the Anger is set to 0. But wouldn't she still attack you?
