Here are my questions
Where is the location mentioned in the quote?
How is the "impulse trigger" used? Please give details and examples if you will.
Lastly, How is the "Push" trigger used? Please give details and examples if you will.

*Select raptors jump from triggers/scripts, though it's actually more complicated than that. The raptors that do jump have a directional string pusher attached to them. The directional pushers move with the raptors, always keeping in proper alignment with the animal so that when a force (push) is applied, the raptor jumps in the direction it's facing.
As far as examples, they're seen in tc_isle. The nest raptor, along with the raptor asleep on the hill (near the venture).

The $pusher used are centityattached (class)objects. Simple boxes, positioned several feet below target raptors. Separate triggers are used to initiate the jump (or push) itself. The nest raptor's trigger surrounds the raptor (creatureleavetrigger) and the hill raptor uses both leave and enter triggers.

I can't explain it any better than that!

Where's the Venture...? The Venture's a ship, like the one from the jp movie. It's along the shoreline. If you can't find it, download the latest tc_isle patch and use the 'MAP' cheat function; you'll see it on the map.

Walk...

He means that only certain (2 actually) raptors jump using the scripts. The rest don't jump.

Chronzerg...I think you're confused; there are no raptors in the ship. Never have been; not sure about with Big Red's patch (would be neat to find one in the engine room or that big ole' storage space). :)

Here are the locations of the raptors that jump:
(264,, -67.8, 30.5)
(359.1, 281.0, 17) :)

1 trigger kills the raptor on level loadup (puts it to sleep). Another trigger wakes it up on approach, a 3rd makes it jump once it leaves its immediate vicinity, a 4th trigger positioned around the fallen trees adds a push for jump at raptor's entrance into trigger's sphere, can refire after so many seconds have lasped. As far as how each trigger works, just study the scripts.... they're nothing new.

Nest raptor: it's on the backside of the island, up from the shoreline, inbetween the para and the raptor beside the ptera.

Yea, I did it (bring back anne) as a joke once. She crawls along on the ground like some wounded soldier. Really odd looking, but teleporting straightens her back up.
