now that its easter, what is up with the easter island heads on TC-isle? just because it looks cool? or is there another reason?

Can't answer for the creators, but I imagine the statues are there since TC Isle is on the Pacific side of Central America, and no one really knows where the Easter Island civilization originated. There is plenty of speculation though. I guess the statues are there to suggest the same people either migrated from Easter Island to TC Isle or vice-versa. I'm sure "looking cool" was a consideration as well.
