Sound when walking over dead Dino

Did I just never hear that squishy sound when I walk over a dead dino or did the tc test level add it to the full game as well?

Nope, that's always been present. Fresh kill, fresh blood; it's walkin' upon the terrain blood spats that cause that 'squishy' sound.

You seriously mean it has always been there? I have never heard it before in all the years I played it... Maybe it's because of our new computer...?

Dunno, maybe. Walkin' up n' over a dead raptor won't create that sound, the blood splatter does that. In the tc-test level, the ptero has blood sacks, which is why that sound occurs during the walkover. As well, it supplys blood splatter in case shot.

Hilwo, go to level 6, grab the toxic rifle, set dinos to on, and go find the rex. Kill him, and shot him for a couple times until a pool of blood forms. After that, walk through it, and you'll get the sound. Even jumping in it produces a sound.

Too bad that the blood didn't leave footprints after you walked through it.
