10 years Slackware

Today, exactly 10 yeahrs ago, V 1.0 of Slackware was announced...
And even today Slackware is very similar to its own roots :)

Hooray for Patrick and his crew! I've got an old Pentium Pro box I'm going to put Slack on pretty soon. I need to practice up on my XF86Config skills anyway.. . :wink:

But imo u should use Slackware 8.1 or less. I tried 9.0 on my box i'm working with all the time and things got really slow in 9.0...

I guess it has nothing to do with Slackware but with the newer QT - anyway, i reinstalled the good old 8.1 ;)
And it rocks
