Hey Sky,

You still checkin' in occaisionally?

I just installed 10.2 with the 2.6.13 kernel and it rocks pretty good! :) I've never been big on KDE, but 3.4 is very impressive! I think I'll play around with it a while. You still a fluxbox man? Xfce iis coming on pretty strong, but for light window managers, I'll stick with IceWM. :)

Indeed, the new Slack rocks. I just switched my main computer to it (I had various Linux distros on my secondary, older one - but couldn't make the decision to fully get rid of Windows).

All I really had were some troubles with the mouse and the scanner first - but other than that it was a pretty easy installation with the 26er kernel. Ironically, on my older system I didn't have any problems with Slack 10.2 at all :P , even with all the nameless hardware I built it on.

Ahhh, another Slacker! :D Did you see my screens of North Pole Chaos running Trespasser under Cedega?

Which DE are you running? :)

exactly... a hardcore SUSE denying Slacker :P The shots look nice, but it's the first time I've seen them. Since I gave up PC gaming and game-modding a long time ago (I use my comps for programming, multimedia and office matters) [and I'm aware of the fact that it appears ironic that I'm posting on a Tres forum ;) ], I'm not really interested in the Win emulation platforms.

KDE mostly, but have GNOME on my slower secondary system. KDE simply is the most familiar to me and runs perfectly on the faster machines.
