Slackware fits me like a glove!

Post by Dapper Dan »

Whatever happened to Sky? :o

Anyway, Sky, if you're still checking in, I switched over from SuSE 9.1 to Slackware 10. After almost three years of using Linux, and trying almost every distro, I think I've finally found the distro that fits me like a glove! :)

Sky, are you using either Swaret or Slapt-get? Or are you just doing all package management "by hand?"

I'm using swaret for packages that come with Slack, and checkinstall to build packages from things i compiled "by hand"

Btw: I just read that Patrick announced Slackware 10.1 Beta :)

Yeah, I saw that too at Distrowatch. It's been a while coming out due to his health. That's really something about his illness isn't it? I hope he recovers soon.
