Oh guys, I noticed that banners have been growing in size signifiantly lately.
I might want to put up a few 'official' rules later, dimension, filesize restrictions etc. I want the threads to be a bit easier to read, load faster, less scrolling etc. I know an image says more than a thousand words, but then again, this is a message board, not some image gallery.
Max dimensions probably won't be any lower than the standard 468x60 banner size, and I won't be to harsh on file size. Animated banners are depreciated, unless its only a few frames and the file size is acceptable.
Just wanted to let you know, before you create some kick ass banner and have to redo it later.
And for those who can't afford hiring JPXTom, I will be running a 'Pimp my Banner'-program in which I will ajust your existing banner to meet the TresCom Standard (TM) for FREE.

Hey Remdul, I was wondering is my sig OK? I know it's kinda big, even I am a little queasy about it, but I'll probably be changing it soon anyway...Remdul wrote:Max dimensions probably won't be any lower than the standard 468x60 banner size, and I won't be to harsh on file size. Draconisaurus, yeah its to big. Like I said, 468x60 is the preferred size, especially the height matters. File size on your banner is a bit steep as well, but that tends to go down when it's smaller. I just want to make sure this message board will be accessable to those who don't have a fast connection.
