Depends. Since I used up the concept in New Beginnings, I'm really contemplating whether or not I should use the one from the book Nublar... I don't want to end up seeming like repetition.

Yeah, I have run into the problem of repetition in many of my fan fics, it is definitely something to avoid.

Unless, of course, you make the aviary completely different

It could definitely be different. Since, for one, they are Cearodactyls instead of Pteranodons, and second off there was a Lodge Ride connected to it in the book that I was thinking of messing around with the idea

Depends. I'm still in the writing stages. That's exactly what I did with New Beginnings. Write now I'm on Chapter 6, but I have a lot set out - yet I like to stay just a head of the readers, since it gives me a chance to take any story changes I want that are new to mind.
