Was going through some stuff in build 96's IT level and came across two objects with the same name:

Code:
P1RailBar01-00
P1RailBAR01-00

These are two separated objects for the rail in Hammonds house. The only difference in the name is that the last one has "AR" in case.
I don't think you really can have two objects with the same name in Trespasser, it's not case-sensitive and BAR is the same as Bar.

Any thoughts on this?

Yet another thing we don't understand about the retail levels.

It's really wierd. From what I remember they made a lot of work on the levels in Studio Max, and that doesn't allow duplicate either AFAIK.

3dsMax is case sensitive though, I can verify that since there are several scenes I have that use case-sensitive names.

I see, that would explain it. I guess the older version is the same.

That is rather odd... Interesting find. I will point out that duplicate obj names are perfectly legal in Max.
