Well, the terrain and foliage are similar, so it is possible and probably likely. The small level that contains the View Building I'm assuming was an environmental test for the Pine Valley level.. The porta potty and those tanks are present in both the tarpit and View Building levels.

And yeah, I still need that level or at least the View Building model.

I use http://www.box.com/ . They give you 100MB maximum file size and give you 5GB total storage with a free account. You can also add collaborators so that if you are working on a project with multiple people you can upload stuff to one single area and all can have access to it. It's a pretty good service and it's free.

This should be it's own topic, not a post in another's.

I personally do not know much about that level, but I bet some others here probably know more. Perhaps RexHunter can re-upload it himself.

Im sure it must have been said before, but I notice you can see the broken bridge and that curved walk way in the pic of the view building.
Image
1, It looks a little different, in the broken bridge pic, the poles maked with pink touch the poles on the bridge marked in red, but don't in the veiw building pic. Or maybe it's the angle, and they actually don't touch.
2, the poles marked in orange match in both pics, except seem taller in the view building pic, marked in blue, Or that might be the sign to the left of the bridge?
3,the poles maked in purple match, and in the view building pic keep going marked in light blue and go all the way up behind the big rock.

Also, in this pic
Image
The big hill in the background, could that be the same hill in the background of this pic?
Image
That would make the powerline pole in the background of this pic, the same pole just behine the view building?

To bad the Vivo clip doesn't have better quality, you might be able to see if the view building was there.

I wonder why the hill was put in, was it to cover up what ever was there?

I also notice, the Vivo clip, all the power line poles aren't there. were the put in later? or taken out?
It seems more likely they might have taken them out, maybe trying to solve crashing issues maybe?

hppav wrote:Hmm, I just imported the SBrokenBridges file from the Mystery Models package and their orientation isn't correct... The positioning is close but the bridge is at an angle to the canal... Unless there's another package containing the broken bridge...
This is odd... I swear there was a mesh which was at a small angle (which I used as a reference to position it in PV over the ditches) and there was even a note accompanying the file on Remdul's PV site or here at TresCom... but now I can't find it.

Thanks!

I imported the view building and my old walkway from that level into a scene that includes part of the gravel trail and the mockup View Building and bridge:

Image

The walkway leads pretty much right to the intersection... then goes right over it  But that could probably be an easy fix. The View Building is a tiny bit narrower than the terrain indicates, but the length seems about right (the length of my temp box was way too short. I'll have to redo the frames on the windows and do some retexturing, but it's better than starting completely from scratch.

I resized your building from a ~0.085 to a 0.075 scale... then it fits more or less right. And the angle I remember was about 11 degrees.

Thanks!
Glad to help ^^
Good thing I held on to it.
And if you want me to hold on to the retexted version you make of the veiw building and the bridge walkway. I'll be happy to. :P
