Beta Setup

Post by tatu »

So.. here we can discuss the difference with the beta setup.

-This plays music when you install, but only when it copies the files, so you won't here it much. (Would it be possible to extract it from the exe? if it's stored there)
-When I open the exe in a hex I found; TweakTrespass.exe
Active project: Trespasser: Isla Sorna
Status:
BE-PH1: Released
PH2-IT: Pre-released
PL-SUM: In production

"...there used to be more benches, but InGen's workers removed them during the evacuation in the name of framerate."

Yes, the music is stored in Setup95.exe and yes, it can be extracted. I used Dragon UnPACKer to do so, here is a RAR containing it:
BetaSetupMusic.rar
(503.34 KiB) Downloaded 483 times

Nice find, I wonder what it did? Maybe it was an app for modifying the registry entries of the game or the tpass.ini.

Or the graphics settings before they integrated that into the "select new driver" thing (which seems not to belong with the rest of the menu options).

Not sure why you would want the music from that, since it has been available on my Trespasser Soundtrack site. Check it out on my signature link, Scallenger's Legacy Trilogy.

Thanks, Hppav, was going to look it up myself but was too tired last night when I posted, lol. Btw, I'm glad to see someone likes to use my Ultimate Track List! Has it been helpful?

Thanks! :) Yeah, it's also great to know where the best sources are for sound quality (since some can be found on Bill's site in better quality than the game files).

It can be found in the soundtrack zip from my site that you should check out:

http://trespassersoundtrack.trescom.org

Or, for a direct link, right here:

http://jplegacy.org/scallenger/TrespasserSoundtrack.zip

I may put up a separate link for it if people want me to.
